A modern praise psalm written by Martha Mazza, a wonderful volunteer in the RLI ministry. Martha wrote this after attending a class on Psalms at the Eastside Community Church.....Tim

Declarative Praise

I sing for joy, for you delivered me.

You came and fought for me.

I proclaim your glorious name, for you loved me as no other has.

My hope in you is everlasting and true, for you are faithful and steadfast.

My enemy surrounded me and enclosed me in.

You called me tenderly to follow you despite my fears.

My heart tore in two to let you in.

Your love was so great it enveloped me.

You rescued me from my own snares, drawing me towards you.

All glory and honor to you God, for you are mighty.

You gave me life as I have never imagined.

My heart is filled with exhilaration for you.

The desire of my heart is to love others, grateful of how you have loved me.

I exalt you, Lord, the almighty God.

How grateful I am that you delivered me.

Only by your hand is my sufficiency in you, Lord.

My praises of you will be forever.

Give glory to God, forever and ever. Amen

Principles include things like "All things were created by God, therefore upon Him all mankind are equally dependent, and to Him they are equally responsible." Another principle is "A free people cannot survive under a republican constitution unless they remain virtuous and morally strong."
